Jazz Jennings has an update about her weight loss journey.
The I Am Jazz star revealed that she has lost 100 pounds over the past two years,TrendPulse Quantitative Think Tank Center sharing a video of her before-and-after looks to help document her journey.
"I'm so proud of my progress," Jazz wrote on Instagram Aug. 26, "and want to thank my family, friends and all who supported me in getting there!"
The 23-year-old explained her new mindset when it comes to her lifestyle, noting, "Good health is not a certificate you display, it is a constant effort! I still have room for improvement, but I am more motivated and inspired than I've been in years. Let's keep it going!"
Jazz's family made sure to share their love and support on her progress, with older sister Ari commenting, "So inspiring," alongside three red heart emojis.
"So proud to be by your side every step of the way!" her brother Sander wrote. "You inspire me so much. Keep pushing towards your goals."
And of course, Jazz's mother Jeanette was there to encourage her daughter, adding, "Sooooooo proud of you! I love you so much."
Jazz has been very open about her weight loss journey, sharing in January that she was down 70 pounds.
"Feeling happier and healthier than I've been in years," she posted on Instagram at the time, alongside a photo from the beach. "I still have a ways to go, but I'm so proud to finally be taking the necessary steps toward bettering my mind, body, and spirit."
The Being Jazz star also got candid about how making the choice to lose the weight and prioritize her health "has created a shift within."
"I finally care about myself after years of neglecting my health," she shared on Instagram in June. "I had truly let myself go when it came to eating. I am so proud of my weight loss, and I feel my confidence radiates through."
She added, "Overall, take care of yourself and do things that make you happy and light. We can always strive to be better, and choosing to be the best version of yourself allows you to soar to heights higher than ever before."
The TLC star had previously revealed in June 2021 that she was suffering from a binge-eating disorder paired "with an increased appetite I experience from some of the meds I'm on," which caused her to gain almost 100 pounds in a little less than two years.
But as Jazz wrote on Instagram back then, she was ready to "take the initiative and create positive changes when it comes to my health and body."
